Hiroshi Nakajima, a past Director -General of the World Health Organization (WHO) once said "We are standing on the brink of a global crisis in infectious diseases."
Many people in my field would say that it's because we are not feeding our immune systems adequately.  Think about it, when was the last time you had a good serving (be honest) of raw vegetables?
Well what can we do about it?
One of my favorite solutions is to have a homemade shake in the morning.  You can even put fruit into them to make it taste sweet!  It's easy to take and doesn't make a lot of mess.  Here are three tips to make shakes:
1. Whatever you use make sure it's fresh.
2. Always have something green in it.
3. Use juice, tea or water as a base.

Hope this helps you get more nutrition in your diet!
